India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is delighted to invite you to Arts and Culture during the Covid-19 Crisis on Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 05:30 PM to 07:00 PM on Microsoft Teams, the first in a series of webinars under ResiliArt-India, by UNESCO, co-organised with KHOJ International Artists Association, The Marg Foundation, Natya Chetana and India Foundation for the Arts (IFA). All webinars under this series are dedicated to raising awareness about the far-reaching consequences of COVID-19 across the arts and cultural sector and to mobilise support from various organisations ranging from public to private during the crisis. The series will aim to focus on immediate relief for artists, recovery mechanisms, and resilience plans.

They will also share measures that government authorities, international organisations, and the private sector, among other players are taking and suggestions they may want to consider that address these concerns and support the cultural sector during and following this crisis.

This first webinar of its series is being launched on May 21 since it is the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue, launched by the United Nations in 2002, upon the adoption of the Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity by UNESCO in 2001.
