Journey with the Arts and IFA

Become a Friend of IFA

And join our campaign to raise Rs 20 lakh by Wednesday, March 20, 2024

Have you joined our Friends of IFA circle yet? As a Friend, journey with us as we traverse through the many landscapes across the country, implementing artistic interventions that enrich lives and infuse our world with hope.

Your support serves as a catalyst for a myriad of projects, encompassing ideas, stories, and experimentations in the arts that need to be shared widely. From delving into the lives of craftsmen to unraveling the essence of home and identity, your contribution drives explorations across diverse themes and regions.

Over the past year, IFA projects have delved into various aspects of Indian culture and society, each contributing uniquely to our understanding of the world around us.

Lokesh Ghai's research in Dehradun has shed light on the intricate politics of shoemaking, while Anisha Kumari's endeavours in Patna have revitalised Sikki and Moonj crafts through the Bihar Museum's collections. Meanwhile, Dheeraj Rabha's exploration in Assam has unraveled the complex notions of home, identity, and displacement among surrendered ULFA members. Additionally, Darshan R Shet's project in Shivamogga has seamlessly integrated regional history into the curriculum of a government school, bridging gaps between social sciences and history education.

These impactful initiatives have been made possible by the generous support of our individual donors. As we strive to continue fostering such meaningful projects nationwide, we rely on your ongoing support and encouragement. Help us reach our goal of Rs 20 lakh by Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
