About the Arts Education programme at IFA
The Arts Education programme at IFA is rooted in the belief that learning and teaching happen simultaneously. It is with this belief that the programme was named 'Kali Kalisu', which in Kannada translates as 'Learn and Teach'.

Kali Kalisu works towards strengthening arts based learning in Government Schools, from primarily non-metropolitan areas across Karnataka. It makes grants to artists and teachers undertaking arts based projects; organises training modules for teachers across districts; creates capacity building initiatives for administrators, principals and headmasters; and conducts block level arts education events to raise awareness.

About the Film/ Project
The film commissioned should capture the many strands of the Kali Kalisu programme, detailed above. It must also showcase the diversity of grants made, and clearly demonstrate through examples, the impact of some of the projects that received support.

The film is primarily intended to be screened to teachers, artists, and administrators, but also needs to speak to a varied audience, including prospective donors. It should therefore be informative as well as inviting, making the programme both accessible and exciting. For potential donors the film must be able to convey the significance and impact of the programme.
