The Arts need you. Please Support Us During This Crisis

The current crisis has brought to the fore a number of challenges for communities across the country, including those that IFA aims to serve – the arts and culture sector. As performance venues and galleries close, many artists are experiencing a loss of income and struggling to adapt to the new realities. While many of them have come forward to support other vulnerable communities, there is nothing earmarked for them from the government or any other support organisation.

At a time like this, we at IFA reiterate our primary responsibilities towards artists and cultural practitioners - to enable them to sustain their work, help them adapt to the changing world and support their experiments and explorations, much of which today will reflect and respond to the crisis we are currently facing. Thus we have relooked at our programmes, introduced online support systems and are reaching out in ways that make us more accessible. We must do today, much more than what we have ever done before.

But due to unstable markets and the majority of our donor funds being diverted to urgent COVID-19 relief, IFA has also taken a hit financially. For us to continue grantmaking, your generosity is crucial now. At IFA, we have always believed in the power of the individual to drive change. Today, we call upon every one of you, who have placed their faith in our work, to help us extend support to the field by making a contribution to IFA.

There are many ways you can support IFA.

Your support today will help IFA to continue its grantmaking, ensuring that funds are made available to many more artists, in these difficult and unprecedented times.
