Cross Currents: Announcing a Series Curated by IFA

India Foundation for the Arts (IFA)
presents
Cross Currents: A Series of Curated Conversations
The theme for January 2021 - March 2021: Play as Practice

IFA presents Cross Currents: A Series of Curated Conversations on specific themes each quarter with a diverse group of artists, scholars, experts, and policymakers. Much like multiple currents that flow within a stream, these sessions engaging with different ideas, perspectives, and explorations will move, confront, glide past and mingle with one another, forming a larger body of conversation around the chosen theme or subject. Each of the three months in that quarter, we hope to delve deep into the particular theme, through presentations, talks, panel discussions et al. featuring IFA grantees and other experts working across mediums and disciplines.

We are delighted to announce the theme for January 2021 to March 2021: Play as Practice. Under this theme, we will invite grantees of IFA whose projects embody the philosophy of play within their artistic practice and other experts whose work engage with the idea, to share their stories and insights. These conversations will explore the creative possibilities of play along with its potential to be critical, and meaningfully engage with civic issues.

You are welcome - to take a short break from your busy life and enjoy from the comfort of your homes as our speakers take you through their exciting work at the following sessions!
