Aditi Rakhe

Aditi Rakhe is a multidisciplinary cultural professional involved with a diverse set of projects across India and the UK as a manager, curator, exhibition designer and researcher. With a Bachelors in architecture from VNSGU, a Masters in History of Arts from the University of Nottingham and over seven years of experience, her professional journey started as an architect and then as a curator and artist manager in the UK. Upon relocating to India, she worked with museums and cultural not-for-profit organisations to nurture collaborations, raise funds and manage projects spread across the country. She has headed multiple projects such as the Goa Affordable Arts Fest for MOG (Goa), the Futures Festival for TIFA (Pune) and the My City, My Heritage project for Sahapedia (New Delhi). 

Through her various roles she has worked at an intersection of programming, management and fundraising to develop fruitful collaborations with institutions such as the British Council, Goethe-Institut, The InterGlobe Foundation, Alliance Française and multiple museums such as Bhau Daji Lad Museum (Mumbai), Ever Living Museum (Shillong), Jim Corbett Museum (Corbett), Vaacha Museum (Chhota Udaipur) and many more. 

With a keen interest in display culture, visual culture and intersectional gender studies, Aditi enjoys reading in English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, video games, embroidery and taking long walks with her dog.
