20 Years of Celebrating the Arts

We would like to invite you to donate to our Corpus and to join IFA in 20 Years of Celebrating the Arts.

IFA has facilitated over 450 projects across research, practice and education since 1995 with a commitment of over Rs 21 crores to the field, to ensure that the arts in all their diversity are nurtured and valued. The results of these engagements today are out there as books, films, archival material, performances, exhibitions, courses - touching, influencing and impacting lives every day

We recognise that there are needs and challenges in the arts that remain unaddressed.  As we look to the future we seek your support in securing our mission of enriching and strengthening the arts across the country. While we continue to make small seed grants incubating ideas, we look to reaching many more artists and scholars throughout the country, we look to expand and deepen our focus in areas so that we can remain relevant, we look to undertake larger projects with more widespread impact. We are also attempting to take on the humongous task of building an archive of our work to make it accessible to students, scholars, researchers, artists and those interested in the arts. These, are only some of the tasks that lie ahead of us.

Watch the video above where our Executive Director, Arundhati Ghosh speaks about why giving to the arts matters and what IFA's Corpus Fund can enable. She makes an appeal from all of us - please contribute whatever you can to our Corpus Fund. Every donation counts. You can now support our Corpus starting from as little as Rs 500.

By supporting and strengthening IFA’s Corpus Fund you will help IFA build a stronger foundation, realise more artists’ dreams, make more grants and secure the future of the arts in the country.
