Past Forward: The Pleasure, Purpose and Practice of Arts Research
October 25, 26, 27, 2024 at the Bangalore International Centre (BIC)
A three-day festival celebrating 70 diverse projects in Arts Research through
Panel Discussions | Film Screenings | Workshops | Talks | Performances | Exhibition
We are delighted to invite you to a rich and exciting gathering of creative practitioners, artists, curators and researchers over the course of three days in Bangalore!
The festival hopes to probe questions around methodological and disciplinary boundaries, practices and stories of marginalised histories, and evoking an alternative sense of aesthetics. The projects curated in the festival look back on the past 10 years of the Arts Research programme at IFA, and together, weave a tapestry of complex realities and imaginations that the projects find themselves in.
Read the schedule below or download here. Register for the festival here.
Please note that Workshop, Research Spotlight@Exhibition and Sound of Streets - a Teesta Troupers performance need separate registrations.
You can also read/download the festival note and bios of participants.
This festival is free and open to all and will have Indian Sign Language interpretation.
