2010-2011:

Foundation Administered Project – Mir Musicians, Rajasthan
For a Mir musicians’ initiative in Rajasthan that will bring together the musicians and their patrons in an attempt to reinvigorate the musical tradition of the Mirs. A group of young musicians will be strengthened and local centres for performance will be created and energised. The project will culminate in a Mir musicians’ conference that will seek to address livelihood issues of the musicians by involving a diverse range of stakeholders.

2007-2008:

Marudhar Lok Kala Kendra, Barmer
For a workshop-conference that brings together about eighty folk musicians of western Rajasthan to examine the changes in their music, repertoire and instruments, and discuss questions around the material welfare and dignity of their communities. The objective of the project is to create a space for folk-musician communities to articulate their concerns, observations, and insights.
