Job Opening at IFA | Incubation Lab Coordinator | Deadline: October 18, 2026

India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is looking for an Incubation Lab Coordinator for the month of November 2026, to coordinate an Incubation Lab under the Project 560 programme.
IFA is an independent, nationwide, not-for-profit organisation that makes grants and implements projects across research, practice and education in the arts and culture across India. Set up as a Public Charitable Trust in 1993, IFA started making grants in 1995, and has continued its work over 30 years, supporting and implementing over 950 projects in arts and culture across the country.
The Incubation Lab brings together a cohort of Bangalore-based artists and researchers over 10 weekdays in November for intensive workshops, city walks, peer exchanges, and collaborative dialogues. The Incubation Lab Coordinator will work closely with the Project 560 team to facilitate the Lab. They will be responsible for managing the Lab from start to finish, including liaising with the team, participants and facilitators, managing daily schedules, and the holding together of various aspects of fieldwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the Incubation Lab - participants, invited facilitators, and guest speakers before and during the Lab
- Assist on ground management for events, walks, and urban interventions, including coordinating permissions as required
- Coordinate travel, daily catering for off-site meals, and logistics with partners and venues
- Assist in daily schedule management and supervise workshop setup and breakdown
- Organise transport, verify routes, and manage venue access for city explorations and neighbourhood walks
- Coordinate with staff at off-site venues, as well as sourcing, setting up, and managing workshop supplies, AV equipment, projectors, and physical lab spaces
ELIGIBILITY:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arts Management, Theatre, Film Production, Visual Arts, Curation, or related field
- Experience with Arts Management/Event Management
- Fluency in Kannada, English, Hindi, and other languages spoken in Bangalore is desirable
- Must be based in Bangalore throughout the contract period
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of urban arts
- Familiarity with independent arts spaces, cultural initiatives, and community projects in Bangalore
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent networking skills
- Experienced in budgeting and project management
- Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills
- Self-driven, patient and persistent; dynamic, with both creative sensitivity and administrative acumen
REMUNERATION: Rs 35,000/- (all inclusive). This is a full-time position, on a one-month contract
