My Bangalore T-Shirt

DESIGN GUIDELINES
1) Create your design around the theme My Bangalore T-Shirt.
2) Your design needs to be created expressly for Project 560.
3) The maximum size of your artwork should fit within a square measuring 10” x 10”. You are also free to use space anywhere else on the t-shirt, including the sleeves and the back.
4) Designs should have no more than three colours. Please use spot colours with no half-tones.
5) Your design should be prepared for a standard crewneck t-shirt.
6) Your design should creatively incorporate two logos—Project 560 and India Foundation for the Arts. Download logos.
7) Please refer to our Submission Guidelines below for details on submitting your artwork.
8) Selected designs will be printed on black or white t-shirts. For your application, please send us your designs on a black or white background.
9) Copyright
- Each design must be the original work of the contestant, and she/he must be the sole owner of the copyright of said entry or else it will be immediately disqualified and deleted from the competition.
- By entering the competition, you agree that your submissions are your own work.
- In case your work contains reproductions of the work of other artists, please present their written consent in your application along with the appropriate credits.
10) Two final designs will be selected.
DEADLINE AND GOODIES
1) The last date for the submission of your artwork has been extended to April 05, 2014
2) The two selected designs will be formally released at Project 560
3) The designer will be credited on the t-shirt for the selected design
4) The two finalists will receive Rs 2,000 in cash
5) The two finalists will also receive five printed t-shirts of their design
6) Winners will be announced in April 2014
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1) Please submit only JPEG, PNG or PDF format files under 500 KB in size. Do not submit high resolution versions of your artwork when you apply. However, please retain the high resolution or vector versions of your files. If selected, we will require you to send them to us. We will only accept digital entries, preferably high-resolution images in .EPS format. We will also accept VECTOR art entries in the following formats: .AI, .CDR, .PDF, .SVG, .WMF.
2) All fonts must be converted to curves.
3) Participants can submit up to three designs each.
4) Please send your completed application form along with your entries. Download the application form here.
5) Once shortlisted your designs will be promoted on social networking sites for publicity and polling purposes.

SELECTION PROCESS
1) Shortlisted entries will be notified by email.
2) Members of staff at IFA will select one design from the shortlist.
3) The second design will be selected through a poll on Facebook from a shortlist of the entries.
4) The Facebook poll will tentatively start on April 10, 2014.
5) All decisions made by IFA will be final.
6) If selected, participants should be willing to make adjustments to their artwork to meet print requirements. If required, candidates may be requested to add logos of sponsors to their design at a later stage.
