All India Radio Interviews | 2018-2019

IFA collaborated with the All India Radio (AIR), Dharwad for a series of interviews centred around Kali Kalisu in 2017-2018. These interviews enabled a broader and deeper reach for the programme across the interior parts of Karnataka, among a diverse range of stakeholders within various sectors including culture, school development and monitoring committees, school administrators, and local audiences. Following its success, we did a second series of interviews in 2018-2019, to introduce the listeners to new pedagogical tools that can be used in classrooms.
The grantees featured in these interviews covered a variety of topics such as writing stories, learning local performing and visual art forms, exploring local histories and so on.
Each episode ran for 20 minutes, from 07:15 to 07:35 AM every Tuesday. The curtain raiser was broadcast on February 12, 2019, and the series went on till April 30, 2019.
