Presenting: IFA Annual Report 2024-2025

We had an enriching year in 2024-25, having implemented 48 projects that span a wide variety of forms: comics, sound art, sculpture, satire, speculative fiction; methods: community collaborations, workshops, oral history, visual storytelling; languages, and regions. We looked back to reflect on the work across programmes, and a major undertaking in the year for us was the review of our Arts Research programme, to assess its needs in the field. Part of that process involved us hosting a festival in Bangalore that offered space for conversations and discussions on the new directions for the programme. We also built several enriching connections through facilitating an Arts Education conference, interacting with experts in the field in a shared vision of extending arts education pedagogy. We also connected with diverse audiences through our project showcases, open houses, podcasts, workshops, discussions, and other events. These interactions continue to inspire us as a team and serve as a space for deep learning.
