Announcing: The Project 560 Festival | Festival Preview on August 23-24, 2025

Bangalore, What’s your Pincode?

Presenting - the Project 560 Festival - explore the varied stories, spaces, memories, people and histories of Bangalore! A unique initiative by IFA, Project 560 focuses exclusively on the city of Bangalore and brings together artists, scholars, and residents to engage deeply with their neighbourhoods, cultural spaces, and natural ecosystems. The festival reflects on seven years of the programme and its impact, and we would like you to join us!

Experience the festival over two weekends—September 13-14 and 20-21—where we invite you to engage with 36 curated projects being showcased across the city to celebrate the breadth and diversity of work emerging from IFA’s commitment to namma uru. From a cinematic walk in Laggare to a food walk in Kalyan Nagar, birdwatching in Lalbagh to aurally experiencing Cubbon Park, here is your chance to engage with Bangalore through walks, talks, dramatised readings, workshops, exhibitions and more! Save the Date!

But first, we have an exciting preview planned on August 23 and 24—two walks in Frazer Town and Malleswaram—that will make you engage and relook at your surroundings in new and creative ways. Rency Philip takes you to Coles Park, Frazer Town with audio performances, while Suchitra Deep walks us through the historic neighbourhood of Malleswaram to unearth its layered narratives especially focusing on the Art Deco architectural style.
