India Foundation for the Arts (IFA)
is looking for design studios to redesign our website

IFA is an independent, nationwide, not-for-profit, organisation that makes grants and implements projects across practice, research and education in the arts and culture in India. Set up as a Public Charitable Trust in 1993, IFA started making grants and implementing projects in 1995. Since then, we have supported and implemented over 800 projects disbursing over Rs 34.75 crore (USD 4.20 million) across the country. We have grown in the last 28 years. With over 800 projects across disciplines, outcomes, regions, languages and concerns, we touch many more journeys today than we did before - especially those that seek untold stories and push boundaries. We would like our website to reflect this spirit and work. Focusing on the aesthetics, ease of navigation and accessibility that can serve its diverse audiences, we would like to redesign our website. We would like the IFA website to be a space that shares our projects which are rich with content in text, images, audio and video; provides information on our programmes; and serves as a resource for the arts and culture field as well the donor communities.

We are looking for a design studio with capabilities to:

  • Redesign the IFA website to look contemporary and offer easier navigation 
  • Present our content in innovative ways
  • Build accessibility across devices, bandwidth and abilities
  • Create a robust backend that can be managed easily by IFA staff on a day to day basis
  • Offer hosting and annual maintenance services for the next three years

Duration of the project: Six months

Budget: Rs 10 lakh (All Inclusive)

  2. Explanation on how you will address design, accessibility and navigation issues
  3. Explanation on the technology you will use and its future upgradation
  4. Conceptual framework of the backend
  5. Budget and timeline
  6. Samples of previous work

  • Incomplete applications will not be accommodated
  • All applications will be acknowledged within a week of receiving them. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed of the next steps
