We are pleased to invite you to at the kitchen table curated by Reliable Copy at 1ShanthiRoad Studio/Gallery.

at the kitchen table looks at how food has historically been and continues to be inscribed through various conventional formats and documents, as well as channels and platforms by which it circulates as material, trace, memory, and culture. The exhibition brings together a selection of cookbooks, video works, and artworks by a galaxy of artists, bookmakers and authors from different parts of the world.

A pop-up book store will function every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through the course of the exhibition.

Reliable Copy is a Bangalore-based publishing and curatorial practice dedicated to realising and circulating works, projects, and writing by and around artists. It is represented by Nihaal Faizal and Sarasija Subramanian.

Sarasija Subramanian received a grant from IFA under the Arts Research programme, made possible with support from Titan Company Limited.
