- Teachers Training Programme: This year, two sets of three-day long training programmes were conducted for principals, administrators and teachers at Yellapura and Kalaburgi. We introduced programmes to principals and administrators for the first time this year with the aim to make their support imperative for teachers to continue to sustain their work in arts education in schools.
- Block Level Events: Three block level events were organised at Sogal in Belgaum district, Byndoor in Udupi district and Chikkaballapur district. Twelve headmasters, three Block Resource Persons and 64 assistant teachers participated in these events, thereby enabling us to reach 52 schools.
- Exposure Visit: This year a group of 26 grantees accompanied by five IFA staff was taken to Kerala. Grantees visited national and international contemporary arts practices displayed at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. They discussed important links in the fields of arts and culture, development and education, and various debates emerged. In examining these links, the visit allowed for the articulation of multiple voices from the Arts Education programme.
