Bhargavi Raju has a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore and a Master’s degree in Art history from the University Of Hyderabad.
She was a recipient of the Young Artist Scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Culture in 2011. She worked as an Academic Assistant, teaching Art History and Aesthetics for two years at the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad.
She is deeply interested in the traditional art forms of South India such as Mysore traditional painting, Tanjore, and Cheriyal painting.
She is passionate about learning new languages and loves to watch sitcoms for leisure.
